To manually pan and tilt your Wyze Cam Pan, enter the Live Stream view in your Wyze App. When your phone or tablet is in portrait orientation, you can either use the directional control pad or drag your finger on the live stream video to pan and tilt. When you enter fullscreen mode by tapping the icon or turning your phone to landscape orientation, you can drag your finger across the screen to pan and tilt.
To zoom in or out, you can double tap or pinch two fingers together or apart on the live stream video. Wyze Cam Pan has digital zoom capabilities up to 8x. When you are zoomed in, you will not be able to drag your finger to pan and tilt the camera since dragging your finger will only move your view within the static frame.
You can adjust the rotation speed of your Wyze Cam Pan if it is rotating too fast or slow for your needs. Tap the Settings icon > Advanced Settings > Motor Controls. Then drag the slider to select the rotation speed. By default, the rotation speed is set to 5, but there are nine speeds to choose from.
Wyze Cam Pan can pan 360 degrees horizontally and tilt 93 degrees vertically. If you try to move your Wyze Cam Pan beyond one of these limits, the camera will stop moving and you will see the message, “You have reached the end.”
Wyze Cam Pan needs to have its base and lens calibrated in order to function properly. It can lose calibration if the base or camera lens are manually moved. To re-calibrate the camera, enter the Live Stream view for your camera. Tap the Settings icon > Advanced Settings > Motor Controls > Reset. Wyze Cam Pan will then move through its initialization process to re-calibrate itself.
