You may be someone that prefers email notifications over push notifications. Maybe you want them both together? You may even take it a step further and want email notifications sent to multiple email addresses. If you have a Gmail account connected to your IFTTT account, here is an IFTTT recipe for you to send notification emails to multiple people if your Wyze Cam uploads a clip to the AWS cloud.
First, open IFTTT and press the plus sign in the top-right corner.
Next, press on "this."
Type Wyze into the search bar and select our service.
Choose your detection trigger.
Select the camera you want to alert people about if it detects something. Then create the trigger.
Press on "that."
Select Gmail from the list of apps and choose the "Send an email" option.
On this page, input in the email addresses that you want to have emails sent to. Be sure to use the CC and BCC options depending on whether or not you want the other email addresses visible for the recipients. If you don't want one or more of the email addresses to be seen, fill them in on the BCC line. You can also change the subject and body of the email if you want. Finalize your email settings and then create the action.
Now you can edit the title of your applet and finish creating it. Make sure to give a little time before testing this applet.
Now IFTTT will send out emails from your Gmail account when your Wyze Cam records an event!
