A slow live stream can be caused by connection issues between your Wyze Cam and Router. Below are some steps you can take to track down and resolve connection issues with your camera
- Check the resolution that you are using to see if it is HD/SD or 360p. Try to change to 360p as this consumes less bandwidth and allows a stable connection. See if that allows for smoother streaming.
- If you have multiple cameras with this issue, remove all but one unit and check its connection again. If you see improvement from this start adding units back. Check each unit's connection after adding one to see when the slow down begins to happen.
- If reducing the number of cameras connected does not improve the connection, please try moving one of the units close to the router to see if this improves the connection quality.
- If other devices on the network are having trouble too, try rebooting your router to see if the connections clear up.
