With Wyze Cam and Wyze Cam Pan, you have the ability to speak and listen using the camera's microphone and speaker. You can use the 2-Way Audio feature to send sound through your device to the camera using the Wyze App.
Wyze Cam Pan 2-Way Audio
Turn on 2-Way Audio by opening up the Wyze app and selecting the camera you want to use. Then tap the Speak (microphone) icon. The Speak icon will change color, and you will see the text 'Speaking' appear at the top of your Live Stream view, and Sound will automatically be turned on. You can now speak and listen through your Wyze Cam Pan.
To turn off 2-Way Audio, tap the Speak (microphone) icon. This will turn off both Speak and Sound.
Wyze Cam 2-Way audio
The process of using 2-Way Audio for Wyze Cam v2 is a little different than it is for the Wyze Cam Pan. Tap and hold the Speak (microphone) icon when you want to speak through the Wyze app. Whenever you're done talking, release the Speak button to re-enable the camera's audio, as indicated by the Sound icon.
Please note that audio through the Wyze app will be disabled while holding the Speak button, and will be automatically re-enabled when the Speak button is released. Wyze Cam v2's 2-Way Audio is similar to that of a walkie talkie, where only one side can speak at a time while the other listens.
